I just posted something about Debaufre watches a few minutes ago.
Whilst I can’t say I am a fan of Rolex lookalikes, the Debaufre Triton 2000 that appeared in the September edition of iW, did get my attention.
Whilst it is not the only watch depth tested to 2,000 metres, it is probably one of the few pieces so rated that is priced under $900.
It comes in a massive 45 mm stainless steel case and is driven by the ever faithful ETA 2824. If you log on to the companies website, they have even ‘kindly’ provided a chart that compares the watch to brands like ORIS, to show the watches value for money.
