Luminox 3050

Mentioned in my post on 4 watches that I recently picked up a Luminox 3050.

Foggy Luminox

It worked fine on the trip but I used it at Universal Studios today and was quite surprised and disappointed when condensation started showing on the inside of the watch making the dial look ‘foggy’.

The watch only got splashed during the Mummy ride – and was not immersed in water – so I am not sure what caused this. I am assuming one of the gaskets is allowing moisture to enter the watch body. I am going to try drying it out with a hair dryer and see what happens the next time I wear it. If it persists, I may try to get it fixed but it will probably not be worth the cost. If this proves to be the case, it may be time for the Luminox and I to part ways. Let’s see…

If any of you have any suggestions or ideas on how I can fix this problem, let me know.
